Plastic Omnium Technical center in Lozorno SLOVAKIA is the main engineering center in Central Europe for the Intelligent Exterior Division. We are developing brand new products, for our premium customers.
As an assembly engineer you will be part of the extended project team and will manage the development of the different assembly means (manual / automatic stations) and its setting up in plants (within Central Europe).
Your main activities will be :
- To validate technical feasibility of Robotics and PLC aspects and participate to design for manufacturing if required.
- To support the definition of equipment specifications & supplier sourcing.
- To support the validation and commissioning of robotized applications.
- To ensure that methodological and technical standards are applied in all the projects.
- To support operations in case of major or new issue on assembly processes/equipment, including : automation audit on equipment/cell, supplier robotic/plc/hmi program modification
- To support the robot and/or automation program adjustment during tuning phase/retrofit/re-use

You are a highly motivated young graduate from an engineering school specialized in PLC or robotics with a strong interest for a technical environment.
As part of your studies, you have already undertaken an international curriculum (e.g. one semester or year outside your home country). Ideally, you have gained first professional experience in robotics, automation and plant engineering.
You are a team player and have demonstrated some leadership and problem solving skills. You have an interest for the automotive industry and a first experience or internship in this sector can be a plus. You are open-minded and with a serious desire to learn. You demonstrate a clear willingness to embark on an international career. You are not afraid to take decisions.
You have good Excel skills. Your English is fluent. Moreover, you have a driving license and are willing to travel occasionally.
